Honoring the Vision and Innovation of My Clients

I am often asked, “When is the best time to use Feng Shui?” The short answer is—now. There is always an opportunity to enhance the energy of your space, aligning it with your goals and minimizing potential challenges.

Years ago, during my studies in China, I learned that the ideal time to apply Feng Shui is before moving in or purchasing a property. Not all energy is equal, and not everything can be adjusted after the fact. Until then, I had assumed Feng Shui was primarily about interior design. However, after visiting countless cities and sites, I came to understand a fundamental principle:

70% of a building’s energy is determined by its location.

Just as a gardener studies the soil and climate before selecting the right plants, Feng Shui practitioners assess the natural energy of a site before determining how to enhance or balance it. The environment shapes everything—from the vitality of the land to the well-being of those who live or work there.

You’ve likely experienced this yourself. Living by the water feels different from living high on a mountain. The energy of a basement is distinct from that of a high-rise. North-facing light carries a different energy than light from the east or west. It’s not about good or bad—it’s about understanding these differences and making informed choices.

The energy requirements of a retail store differ from those of a temple or a home designed for a growing family. By recognizing these nuances, we can ensure success by aligning purpose, place, and timing to create spaces that thrive.

Gratitude for a Forward-Thinking Developer

Today, I want to honor the vision and innovation of my client and friend, Kirk Fisher, and Lark Group. Kirk represents a family and company deeply committed to serving the community. Their goal is always to uplift people through their projects—a philosophy that aligns with my own approach to Feng Shui.

This past week, we celebrated CC4, the latest in a series of office towers built in Surrey, Canada. Before construction began, I was invited to analyze the land, assess its potential, and determine the optimal use of space.

By incorporating Feng Shui into their developments—whether office towers, medical facilities, or community spaces—Lark Group seamlessly integrates ancient wisdom into modern design.

Key recommendations included:

  • The ideal placement and orientation of main entrances to optimize energy flow.
  • Strategic positioning of elevators and transition spaces to promote efficiency and ease.
  • Thoughtful allocation of space for support staff, key management, and communal areas to enhance productivity and well-being.

The result? Spaces that do more than function—they align with natural energies to minimize challenges and enhance well-being, prosperity, and success for everyone who steps inside. The impact is tangible: reduced crime, increased staff productivity, and stronger overall business performance.

Kirk’s dedication to intentional, thoughtful development sets a new industry standard. Balance, flow, and positive energy are not afterthoughts but foundational principles. I am grateful for his recognition that true progress honors both innovation and time-tested wisdom.

Thank you, Kirk, for shaping a brighter, more harmonious future for all.
